1914/1931 NEGRO LEAGUE BASEBALL ORIGINAL ADVERTISING POSTER!

Advertising poster advertising game between Philmont and Mohawk Colored Giants. With much research we are able to date this advertisement to either 1914 or 1931, a very reputable auction house placed this ad to the 1910's which would land it to 1914 aliened with our research. Philmont played from 1898 to 1938 had major league player Claude Rossman. Mohawk Colored Giants played from 1913-1943 and played against many Major League players. Dark toning, tack holes, piece of paper missing on left. Ad measures apx. 10" X 6 1/4".
